THERE IS NO GOOD THAT DOESN'T COME FROM BAD
She is a white weapon
An open door
Four dogs that
Wag their tails when you arrive
She is Dark in the mornings
You fear her at noon
Past three, its forgotten
Silence is a blow
That doesn't greet you
It delays
A wave that hugs you
And also devours you
An endless story. Two doors through which reason and madness cross, earthly conditions. How do we inhabit the borders of good and evil? Finding ourselves calm in that temporary state of limit, at the entrance or the exit. In the indecision of noise and silence that is not heard. The journey evokes an exercise of location and waiting, such as inhabiting a limbo, for example. Where the abandonment of the moving image, listening, and waiting are practiced. Judgment as a rational state and the irrational ones to be able to cross it. "There is no north without south". The principles of cause and effect. The temple is where the oracles rest, where the fragility of the vulnerable being becomes a power. Can we defend ourselves with fragile substances without hurting ourselves so much?
This series was exhibited at SOMA, Mexico City, in 2022, and at Material Art Fair, Mexico City, in 2022.
