Paul Setubal's research is developed in various media such as sculpture, installation, drawing, painting, video, photography and performance, addressing the issues and symbologies of the body in contemporary society, its use, control, relations of violence, resistance, abuse and power.

The artist, born in Goiás, Brazil (1987), holds a PhD in Art and Visual Culture from the Federal University of Goiás.
He lives and works in Brasilia, Goiânia, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
